If we can buy Star Trek and Mission: Impossible, two shows from over 50 years ago, in HD, then we ought to be able to buy these episodes that have been remastered in high-def TWICE since they originally aired! It's not 2009 anymore!!

The quality is much too bad, even for SD resolution. Why don't you release the version available on Bluray?

This series is amazing, and this bundle is one incredible deal, but I don’t know what makes me angrier; The low quality picture-wise, or the fact that audio descriptive options for the blind have not been added despite being available! Either way I am beyond disappointed!

It goes beyond the fact these were broadcast in sd. The compression used is super bad and pixelated. Hey Dude from 1989 looks less pixelated than this. There’s really no excuse. Buy the blu ray.

The 9th and 10th Doctors are my favorites so I was excited to see this available for purchase. It’s all of seasons 1-4 plus all the specials with David Tennant. It is in SD, not HD. Didn’t bother me, looked like the same quality as it was when the series was on Netflix. And as another reviewer mentioned, they didn’t film in HD until beginning with season 5. Only complaint I have is the captions. There are plenty of mistakes, like the person who did it wasn’t used to British speech. They also definitely didn’t double check the spelling for most things like planet names and alien species names. May not bother some, but I love watching with CC so it annoyed me.
  • Low quality do not buy

Not even worth the purchase, these are significantly lower quality than the blu ray or amazon versions. Save your money.

Ignore the negative reviews about the quality of the show. I watched these on DVD a few years back and this is how they look. Doctor Who didn’t start filming in HD until Season 5 with Matt Smith. For $25, this is a fantastic deal. I hesitated at first, unsure if it had all the episodes or was just a “best of”. Nope, this has it all!

This product should never have passed QC. The resolution is 320x240. Do not purchase.
  • SD only, so don’t bother.

The series has been upscaled to 1080p for Amazon & the various Blu-ray releases, so why is it only available in SD here? Save your money, and wait for the inevitable HD bundle.
