I thought it was great and the editing was well done!
  • Generic motocross movie.

Pretty much a stock moto movie. A bunch of slo-mo shots, repeated scenes (they must have shown Villopoto going around the same turn from the same angle at least three times), and a mediocre soundtrack. Outside of Grant’s scenes, there aren’t really any amazing shots. It’s entirely track riding (one small, small freestyle scene), seems like the only thing different between shots are the riders. There is likely more talking and interviewing than riding. If you put the slo-mo shots in real time, there definitely is more interviewing. Red Bull Media House needs to make a motocross movie, I feel like they are the only ones who can make an epic film at this point. If you are bored, I would rent this and wouldn’t even bother with HD, the scenes aren’t epic enough to make a difference.
  • This is worse than Kickstart 3

Pretty awful movie. Moto 5 is a far better movie and it captures the essence of what riders enjoy doing most of all.

To quote Josh Grant Transworld really "sacked up and sent it" with this movie. Quality shots from start to finish and the music was on point. As a filmmaker myself, I can really respect the editing on this film-very well done. You will not be disappointed with The Flow.

Transworld MX deliver a true gem with The Flow! The best of the Kickstart Series in my opinion. Donn Meada knows how to tell a great story and the riders are amazing. I love anything that Villopoto is in! Buy HD you'll be glad you did!

Honestly was pretty terrible. Wayyyy to many whip shot and not much real riding. The entire movie was practically in slow motion. I am not trying to be rude, but come on Transworld! I want to see some real riding, not slow motion whip after whip after whip. MOTO 5 is a much better movie.
  • Dope movie!!!

Awesome footage! Shot really well and has a lot of good 1on 1 interviews with the top SX riders. Donn Maeda did a great job on this one.

I always go into TWMX films really hesitant after the stinkers of Kickstart 2 & 3. Those were hands down some of the worst things to happen to MX films. But Kickstart 4 turned it around and I was impressed by that outing. The Flow goes even further! The overall flick was one of the best TWMX has done on their own and you can see Maeda's skills are starting to catch up with others. Definitely worth the $$. If you complain about music in a film/edit you just don't get the point of filmmaking. These aren't music videos.
  • Waste of money

I was extremely hopeful for this video, and it was a terrible let down. Music is terrible, and the video shot was poor. I think a gopro would have been better. Transworld usually does decent work, but this is not one of them. I gave it 2 stars only because of grant. He's a boss regardless of what video he is in.
