Just a lot of skunkage, and sloppy surf with not an interesting enough narration. It’s kind of cool how we get to listen to the world’s best, but I actually like all of them a lot less after their ramblings. Not worth the buy.

This film managed to make the world's best surfers and their surfing boring.

Loved it -- makes me want to take another surf trip and be around other watermen. Watched this right before I had my first Muay Thai fight this weekend hahaha. Definitely got my mind in the right place. Taylor Steele movies have that inspirational but peaceful effect on you!

From the opening scene to the last scene where Kelly and John John are still playing chess, I can't remember a better surf film. Taylor Steele has out done himself. His pairing of people couldn't be better. He took all of my favorite surfers from when I was a kid and paired them with this generation version of themselves. It is such a raw and honest window into the souls of these surfers like I have never seen before on film. The surfing is fantastic, the cinematography is second to none, and if for no other reason to see the wave that Steph and Dave surf together... it is equivalent to the moment when two incredible musicians play together for the first time. You watch in awe of how two people creating something so beautiful that you would swear it had to be choreographed. To top it off you have the Pipe Pioneer the Zen Master himself Mr. Gerry Lopez narrating the whole thing - it truly doesn't get any better than this.

nice idea, but not enough quality surf footage. in two out of the four sections the people just come right out and say they're getting skunked! john john and kelly in choppy sloppy reef break. dorian- no waves. rasta and gilmore- tandem ride, this is not 1960, least they got waves. machado and ando- happy to be skunked. the best surfers, photogs, narrator and director with a bunch of junk waves. what the heck happened!?!? and the director freaking lives in indo
