Richard is getting ever closer to taking over EmKa: Victoria has had to relinquish her majority stake. Distracted by a flirtation with Gerd, she also signs a purchase agreement for a property contaminated with chromium. Richard senses his opportunity and seizes it. Gisela can hardly believe her luck: Hans-Harald’s check is in her hands, and she dreams of owning her own pub. But then Valerie unexpectedly returns from Switzerland, and Gisela hides the check in a stack of newspapers, which disappears without a trace a short time later...
