Overview

Lou and Daniel are called away to an emergency at a construction site, leaving Jess alone with her boys. They’re not entirely comfortable with this, but the reserved Jess surprises everyone: she helps Charly with his homework and fleeces Richard at poker night. But then she has a romantic dream about Daniel. Richard surprises Julius with a parachute jump, but Julius isn’t easily swayed. After enjoying his date with Richard, he confidently stands him up. Richard is furious, and Lara has to drag Julius into his arms. Carla is at her wit’s end and, exasperated, grounds Lilly. Lilly escapes to Britta’s and makes up with her mother. Carla takes it in stride: her strict attempt at parenting has at least brought Britta and Lilly back together. Valerie is looking forward to an evening with Lara and Toni, but Lara cancels due to bad news in the custody battle. When Valerie later discovers that Lara is enjoying a leisurely pasta meal with Simon instead, she sees red.
