Overview

Valerie painfully realizes that she never had the father she longed for in Hans-Harald. With Gisela’s support, she tries to let go. But then comes another blow: Richard fires Valerie because she lied to him. What should she do now? Meanwhile, Jess wants to distance herself from the Mahlers, but Pelle and Charly continue to seek contact. While playing with the children, Jess suddenly feels intense maternal emotions-can she really give up her baby? Lou and Daniel are excited about their growing family and have no idea how much Jess is struggling inside. Lou asks Richard to solve the problem with the old elm tree-the tree is blocking the construction project but cannot be cut down.
