I don’t understand all the good reviews. I didn’t like the movie at all. The music got on my nerves.
Surprisingly not average

Don’t judge a book by its cover. This is definitely worth a watch at least once.

Ignore the few haters & watch this gem, it's an amazing addition to the 'torture porn' sub-genre but don't let that put you off. It's solid. Watch the unrated version if possible.
Waste of money!

After reading all the positive reviews I gave this film a go. An aussie film with funding to make it more artistic than actually horrific, it even has a few funny scenes because of how ridiculous it is as well as many "oh dude come on" scenes where as always stupidity wins over common sense in a 21st century film.
Very long scenes where you're looking at the same for about 2 minutes, too much focus on the music and slow motion, not enough action. This is more for those existentialist types than for actual horror fans. Oh how I wish I could have my money back.

The Loved One's is One of the best horror films of the year! Filled with great performances, directing & a main villain that you have to see to believe. I'm Scared of Lola!!

I just loved that movie. I used to like horror movies when I was younger and have recently gotten sick of horror as it has turned too much into torture porn in the last couple of years. I have heard good things about this movie though and I thought I give it a shot for Halloween. I was captured right away. This film is well done, brutal yet so ironic, great pictures, great entertainment and simply the best horror movie that I have seen in ages! The actors are more than decent and Robin McLeavy is just the freakiest and most ironic villain ever!
