Yep, moderately predictable plot. Yep, kinda slow in spots. I’m not much of a Depp fan any longer either. Decent supporting cast too. It’s trying to look like those 50s and 60s movies and does a pretty good job of it. That’s also probably why people were expecting more story when they maybe shouldn’t have been.
It needed a Cary Grant style lead, Clooney, etc.
That said, Angelina is overwhelmingly gorgeous in this movie. She does her best to carry it too, her character is fantastic and good lord, she’ll take your breath away.

Never read any reviews before watching the movie. I loved the movie. Really kept me guessing in a world where you can almost guess the plot within the first 2 minutes.
