Where is 4K ?? PLEASE UPDATE October 2020 *** Friday the 13th 1-4 have been upgraded to 4K - please upgrade these movies! This classic horror film was made by top director Joseph Zito (the prowler) special effects by the top in its class Tom Savini and the actors were above top notch. the music, editing and directing all are A+ there is NO FRIDAY FILM after this that had anything that i mentioned above. the scare level, the jump level, the serious level and gore are hands down making this the best most fun Friday 13th film around. Part one is classic as a murder mystery slasher and 2-4 were THE BEST in the series

This is the last great installment in this franchise. I truly with they would have let this be THE FINAL CHAPTER. Had they put this series to rest here, they would have ended on a high note....instead every Friday film after this is an abomination....I cannot even sit through them they get so bad. That being said.....Parts 1-4 are absolutely essential viewing for any horror fan. Part 2, 3, 4 are a real close tie in my mind for being best in the series. Classic horror all around. Great old shcool 80s slasher film

I dont think anyone over the age of 12 would find this entertaining on any level -- Ive put more thought into a grocery list than the writers put into this schlock --
  • More Voorhees

The fourth installment of Friday the 13 doesn't deviate too far from the first three, but the ending is a nice twist which could've led to a new line of movies.

The most creative, scary, gory, fun, and addicting movie of series. Jason is very scary in the movie, the kills are perfect. The acting is unbelievable, and if there was no more films after this masterpiece, this would be more talked about. Any horror or slasher fans will enjoy, it's a good film to watch with friends at midnights. Great final chapter. The 4 first movies are a must see, especially this one!
