I found this movie in an old stack of dvds a long time ago and I have watched it a ridiculous amount of times over the years Simply love it, if you get the change everyone should watch it 💛

Filmed in Austin TX, baby. Movie kicks the stereotypes behind. The crowning moment is when the Dad puts his daughter's banner in the front yard with pride. Move over football, roller derby is alive and well.

I loved this movie so much! Ellen Page nailed the character Bliss. There isn't a lot to say other than this was an amazing movie.

Ok, I did enjoy the movie, but found the hilarious renditions of the "Texas" accent and the portrayals of "Austin" funny. I am from Austin and it seemed like they took a few props from Austin to create a kind of Austin. Although, if you aren't from Austin, you might not know that. And if you haven't been to Texas you might not notice that the accent is totally bad. It's like a really old western. To be fair, it does look they drove a camera through parts of Austin, which is a nice effort, at least.

The story and concept drive this film along. Although not typically a fan Page or Wigg's work, they step up their game in this movie.

Do not watch this movie if you're bored.. It will just make you more bored. It wasn't a "bad" movie, it just wasn't very good.
