Seen this in High School criminal law class and as soon as I seen it I had to buy it. If you live in Michigan the Taylor meijer has the book!

I have seen this movie so many times, and I am still caught up in the drama every time. The story is amazing. The cast is full of amazing actors, and I love to see father and son Sutherland on opposing sides! Don't rent it, just buy it, because you'll just come back and rent it again :)

I chose to view this film for an AP U.S. Government & Politics project because I read Mr. Grisham's books in the past and knew that A Time to Kill would be great. However, the film is not simply an adaptation of his brilliant debut novel: It is a lesson. I would recommend this movie to anyone who deals regularly with people, be they clients, adversaries, or even friends, because A Time to Kill reminds all viewers that no matter a person's color, sex, race, disability, or lineage, they remain a human being for all eternity. As Mr. Jackson puts it, "I am not just a black man, Jake. I am a MAN!"
