The pace, style and brilliant acting help bring us close to the characters and feel their joys, sadness. We're compelled to see that like most of us, they're just trying to make things work, play the cards they're dealt. Mahershala shines in every scene, the actors playing Chiron are amazing. It's a must see.

This film is so groundbreaking and yet so timeless. Definitely deserved the Oscar for Best Picture.

This is the first review I have written on a movie. This film portrays so many emotions, so many real life issues in such a mesmerizing way. The highs and lows as you watch grasp you and don’t allow you to ignore them. This film made me laugh, celebrate and cry. I believe it’s something everyone should see.

Pretty average movie

I haven’t seen or know anything about this movie....BUT.....Again this sneaks its way into $9.99 weekly pretty much this is an every other week thing.

I would recommend this film to anyone. The main character in this film is simply unforgettable. His story is an emotional ride and certainly not always a pleasant one. However, this movie is beautiful art. If this is not based on someone’s personal experience I would be very surprised as it seems very real and honest. I wish more writers/filmmakers would give us something raw like this.
